Zulip Bitbucket integration

Zulip supports both Git and Mercurial notifications from Bitbucket. This integration is for the new-style Bitbucket webhooks used by the Bitbucket SAAS service.

For the old-style Bitbucket webhooks used by Bitbucket Enterprise, click here, and for the new-style webhooks used by Bitbucket Server click here.

  1. Create a bot for Bitbucket. Make sure that you select Incoming webhook as the Bot type.

  2. Decide where to send Bitbucket notifications, and generate the integration URL. You'll be able to configure which branches you'll receive notifications from.

  3. On your repository's web page, go to Settings. Select Webhooks, and then click Add webhook.

  4. Set Title to a title of your choice, such as Zulip. Set URL to the URL generated above, and toggle the Active checkbox. Select the Triggers you'd like to be notified about, and click Save.

Filtering incoming events

The Bitbucket integration supports filtering for the following events:

change_commit_status, pull_request_comment_created, pull_request_updated, pull_request_unapproved, push, pull_request_approved, pull_request_fulfilled, issue_created, issue_commented, fork, pull_request_comment_updated, pull_request_created, pull_request_rejected, repo:updated, issue_updated, commit_comment, pull_request_comment_deleted
