Zulip GitHub Sponsors integration

Get GitHub Sponsors notifications in Zulip!

  • Instructions for all platforms

  1. Create a bot for GitHub Sponsors. Make sure that you select Incoming webhook as the Bot type.

  2. Decide where to send GitHub Sponsors notifications, and generate the integration URL.

  3. Go to your profile on GitHub, and click on Sponsors dashboard. Select Webhooks, and click Add webhook. GitHub may prompt you for your password.

  4. Set Payload URL to the URL generated above. Set Content type to application/json, and click Create webhook.

Filtering incoming events

The GitHub Sponsors integration supports filtering for the following events:

cancelled, created, edited, pending_cancellation, pending_tier_change, tier_changed
