Create an organization

It only takes a minute to create a new organization on Zulip Cloud, or on a self-hosted Zulip server you’ve set up.

You can try out Zulip by creating a demo organization — no email required when you register. Explore the app, and invite others to check it out with you.

Create a demo organization

Demo organizations are automatically deactivated after 30 days. If you’d like to preserve your message history, you can convert a demo organization into a regular organization.

  1. Fill out a brief form, and click Try Zulip.

  1. Decide on a name and subdomain for your organization.
  2. Fill out the form at https://zulip.com/new/, and click Create organization.
  3. Click Complete registration in the confirmation email you received.
  4. Fill out your account information, and click Sign up.
